Admission $5/adults\, $2/children\n\n \n\nTuesday\, June 18\, 7pm\, The Great Fergus Falls Cyclone with Lance Johnson\, Otter Tail County Historical Society\, 1110 W Lincoln Ave.\, Fergus Falls The author of the 1982 book The Great Fergus Falls Cyclone of June 22\, 1919\, Lance Johnson\, will present his well-known\, vintage slide presentation on the history of the tornado. There is no greater authority on the storm than Lance Johnson. Admission $6\n\n \n\nWednesday\, June 19\, 2019\, 7pm\, Walking Tour of Oak Grove Cemetery 1509 E. Mt. Faith Ave.\, Fergus Falls Get to know the people who experienced the storm - the survivors\, victims and those who rebuilt the community. This tour explores the lives of people directly affected by the tornado. Admission $6\n\n \n\nFriday\, June 21\, 6pm\, Pre (Mystery Tour) Party @ River Inn\, 133 S Mill St. Food & Cyclone Beer by Fergus Brewing Co. Food provided by The Downtown Riverfront Council\n\n \n\nFriday\, June 21\, 8pm\, Downtown Fergus Falls Mystery Walking Tour. Meet at River Inn\, 133 S Mill St. This tour will highlight some of the enduring legends of the 1919 tornado. Due to the content of the material\, the Downtown Mystery Tour may not be suitable for young children. Admission is $6\n\n \n\nSaturday\, June 22\, 9am Cyclone Ride meet @ Fergus Falls City Hall\, 112 W Washington Ave.\, Fergus Falls Visit 8 locations impacted by the Great Fergus Falls Cyclone of 1919 during this 1 hour-long bicycle tour. Beginning at City Hall and concluding at the point of the most severe devastation. The first 30 cyclists will receive a map of the tornado trail and a Cyclone 1919! souvenir spoke card. No admission.\n\n \n\nSaturday\, June 22\, 11am Lake Alice Cyclone Tour meet @ St. James Episcopal Church\, 321 S Lakeside Dr.\, Fergus Falls The Lake Alice area was one of the hardest hit areas. Dozens of homes were flattened\, leaving the lake filled with debris. In addition to property loss\, this tour will explore harrowing stories of heroism\, tragedy and narrow escapes. Admission $6\n\n \n\nSaturday\, June 22\, 2pm Tornado! Open house reception @ Kaddatz Galleries\, 111 W Lincoln Ave\, Fergus Falls\n\n \n\nSaturday\, June 22\, 4:15pm Commemorative Service meet @ St. James Episcopal Church\, 321 S Lakeside Dr.\, Fergus Falls Join us for a commemorative ceremony dedicated to the victims and survivors of the 1919 Cyclone. At 4:45 church bells will toll around town to recognize the time that the storm began and those that died in the storm or of injuries sustained in the storm. No admission.\n\n \n\nSaturday\, June 22\, 7pm\, 100th Anniversary Community Band Concert @ Kennedy Secondary School Auditorium\, 601 Randolph Ave\, Fergus Falls. This concert will include three locally funded commissions: Tornado of 1919 by Russ Peterson\, Arrows by Sam Hazo and Echoes by Erika Svanoe.
