BarCamp Fergus Falls is an informal un-invited, open un-conference where everyone can come together and share their passion and knowledge.
Do you have something your passionate about and would like to share with others? Join us for our community's inaugural BarCamp, an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees. Whether it's business/entrepreneurship, creative/arts or you're into technology or baking, we've got an audience waiting to hear from you!
The event is free and open to the public, but all attendees must participate either by filling a 10-minute slot (speech, present, demonstration on a topic of choice) or by volunteering at the event (set-up, clean-up, session facilitate/timers, etc.).
How it works:
Consider topics or ideas to present or demonstrate.
Invite others from across the region.
During registration, speakers will write out their name and topic and select a 10-minute slot on the sessions grid.
Enjoy breakfast and network
Speak, present, demonstrate on your topic(s) If time allows, multiple presentation slots may be available.
If you don't speak but want to participate, we need volunteers to set up, clean-up, and facilitate/time speakers.
At close, there will be food trucks on site and the brewery will be open for extended networking.
Prepare for next year! We hope to make this an annual event.
