Bob Dylan Hour and Community Jam!
Punk Rock meets Classic Folk for this, the fourth week in our Thursday Night Live Music series!
The night will begin with "Hinge Arts" artist-in-residence musician Shannon Murray-Singer, a punk rock/acoustic folk musician who hails from the Northwoods of Minnesota. Shannon is a member of the Riot Folk! Collective who tackles guitar-playing and songcrafting like it's a contact sport, mixing folk and punk traditions with a unique flair. She has been making folk music a 'threat' again since 2001 with her quirky stories, passionate message, and contagious energy. Get a taste of her sound here: https://

At 8:00 we will open up the floor for "Bob Dylan Hour", a new series we're working on to engage local musicians to celebrate beloved, classic musicians - one community "jam" at a time! This week we celebrate folk legend Bob Dylan, and invite you to sign up to play one (or three, or five!) of your favorite Dylan tracks. Guitar? Keyboard? Upright Bass? Banjo? You name it, we want to hear it! Bringing your own instruments is encouraged, but we will have instruments available for you.
As a way to gauge involvement and commitment, we're asking interested folks (pardon the pun) to leave a comment on this event page with what song(s) they're willing to play that night. We're really looking forward to your help in celebrating this wonderfully-unique evening of music. Look forward to seeing you!
