Brown Bag Lunch: Flying Tigers
The Fergus Falls Airport is named for him and all the airmen who died during WWII. Micky Mickelson graduated from Henning High then moved to Fergus Falls when his father was transferred here to work in a bank. He earned a degree from NDAC (now NDSU) and then enlisted in the Naval Air Corps. He trained at Pensacola, Florida, before joining the Flying Tigers. His plane went down in 1944. Bring your own lunch to eat while you enjoy the program. There will be a different program each day. These programs are all FREE and OPEN to the Public.
