Cancer Center Education Series January 11 Topic: Pre-planning Tips from Nick Heydt and Marcus Meder

(FERGUS FALLS, Minn.) The topic of pre-planning will be discussed at the Cancer Center’s monthly education series on Monday, January 11^th.  Attorney Nick Heydt and Financial Advisor Marcus Meder will address the topic with a proactive and positive approach designed to help anyone at any age or stage of health find peace of mind in the pre-planning process. 

“Relieving your family of having to make important financial decisions during a period of great stress is one of the best gifts you can give yourself and those you love,” said Jamie Nordick, Administrative Director of the Cancer Care & Research Center. “Giving people access to these types of tools and resources is part of our commitment to providing the full continuum of care,” she added.

The session begins at 5:00pm with light refreshments and will be followed with presentations and Q&A with Heydt and Meder.  Heydt is an attorney with the Pemberton Law Firm with extensive experience in estate planning, probate law, and business succession. He has extensive experience in drafting complex estate plans, insurance trusts and family trusts and will share his expertise in these areas. Meder has been a financial advisor with Edward Jones since 2008. He will offer suggestions for working with your attorney, CPA and other professionals to review estate considerations and help determine the most appropriate financial strategy for you and your family.
