Connecting Cultures Through Creativity

Please join Kaddatz Galleries this Friday, September 22 from 11:00am - 12:30pm for Connecting Cultures Through Creativity featuring local artist Michael Atonio! Connecting Cultures through Creativity is a celebration of the cultural diversity of our region through art. Michael will be showing some art of the Tatau, Malu, Tã Moko - tattoo art in his Polynesian culture that is very important and sacred in his Samoan heritage. He will also show and demonstrate the Haka, which is a war cry or war challenge that different tribes do before they go into battles. This event is free + open to the public of all ages as part of Welcoming Week, an annual campaign and celebration to showcase the movement of communities striving to be more welcoming places for all.
