May is Older Americans Month! Bring a bag lunch and join us for a series designed to inform, inspire, and connect.
Session 1: Aging with Purpose.
Learn about Blue Zones especially the Japanese where many live a healthy life beyond 100 years. IKIGAI is the Japanese secret to a long and happy life. We will discuss longevity secrets, how to find purpose in our own life, and get the most out of our retirement years.
Session 2: Radio Taiso.
A 3 to 15 minute exercise routine that the Japanese do every morning. We will continue our aging well look at Blue Zones and learn about this simple exercise routine that they have been doing for decades. Be prepared to stand up and do some simple moving that will be beneficial.
Session 3: The Art of Frugal Retiree.
How can we still have meaningful and happy retirement even if we haven't saved a million dollars? We will focus on what is important in our golden years and how we can have a great retirement on a shoestring budget. Discover practical tips for traveling frugally, living simply, and creating the freedom to enjoy retirement your way.
