Fourth Annual Telework Conference
The Fergus Falls Telework Initiative started in 2008 as a destiny driver under the Forward Fergus Falls group. Telecommuting, remote work or telework is a work arrangement in which employees do not commute to a central place of work. A person who telecommutes is known as a "telecommuter," "teleworker," and sometimes as a "home sourced" or "work-at-home" employee. The Telework Initiative was awarded a grant from the Blandin Foundation. As a result of the grant, the Telework Manual was prepared. The manual will be shared and available at the Telework Conference on May 28.
