Halloween at the Haunted Museum!
Halloween, a favorite time of year, gives us the opportunity to revisit some of our area’s most notorious people and events at the Otter Tail County Historical Society's Haunted Museum on Friday, October 30, at 7:30 p.m.
The history of Otter Tail County is replete with stories that are shocking, spine-tingling and bizarre. Taken directly from local historical accounts, readers will present stories of grisly murders, escaped maniacs and other blood curdling tales.
Many of the events have become the stuff of legend, to the point that the truth has often been obscured. The Haunted Museum is an opportunity to go beyond the rumors to get the true gory details. The question is, do you have the stomach to know what really took place on the pig farm?
Come between 5:30 - 6:30 to save a seat and get a spooky museum tour from Missy “Black Widow” Hermes. Also, Cliff Knutson and Karen Field will be on hand to sign copies of their book “The Pig Farm Murder of 1887.
Admission is $6. For more information contact the museum at 218-736-6038.
