Halloween at the Haunted Museum

   Halloween means one thing at the Otter Tail County Historical Society, time for the annual Haunted Museum program on Friday, October 31, with shows at 5 and 7 p.m.

There is something about the crisp cool air and freshly fallen leaves that stirs up thoughts of ghost farms, ax wielding maniacs and Meat Loaf. Meat Loaf? That’s correct, the Historical Society and A Center for the Arts in Fergus Falls are teaming up for an unforgettable night starting with shocking true stories from Otter Tail County history followed by the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show at the historic Fergus Theater at 10 p.m.
   Do not miss this opportunity! Held in a darkened museum with only your imagination as your guide, storytellers present true accounts of grisly murders, escaped asylum patients, and other tales too horrifying to mention. Come dressed as your favorite Rocky Horror character and find out what really happened at the pig farm.
   At the conclusion of each show, there will be a drawing for free Rocky Horror tickets, the 1975 cult classic in which audience members are encouraged to interact with the film.
