This prevention education through empowerment group(s) is (are) designed to bring awareness and educate of the risks that may be associated with and for, Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation. Recognizing the signs of vulnerabilities or risks that youth may experience, will help reduce their chances of being human trafficked or sexually exploited. This prevention education is designed to empower our youth to recognize those signs. The primary prevention education consists of learning what sexual exploitation is, healthy relationships, what consent is and age of consent, safer social media, risks and vulnerabilities and where to find support and help within our area.
