OSHA 10 General Industry
Lakes Country Service Cooperative is an OSHA Outreach training opportunity. The OSHA Outreach Training Program for General Industry provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in general industry. This class will be delivered by an OSHA-authorized outreach trainer. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an OSHA General Industry Outreach completion card for the course completed.
OSHA 10 General Industry, March 29-30, 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
This class is intended to provide awareness of common job-related safety and health hazards and will cover specific OSHA standards of the course topics listed below.
Course Topics Include:
· Bloodborne Pathogens | · Hazard Communication/Employee Right to Know |
· Electrical Safety | · Introduction to OSHA and the OSH Act |
· Emergency Action Plan | · Machine Guarding |
· Ergonomics | · Personal Protective Equipment |
· Fall Protection | · Walking and Working Surfaces |
Fee includes: Course material and lunch.
This is a voluntary program and does not meet the training requirements for any OSHA standards. None of the courses within the Outreach Training Program is considered a certification.
