Summer Explorers Biology Camp
This day camp is a summer adventure for children entering 5th and 6th grades in Fall 2019.
An infinite number of discoveries await your child at the Prairie Wetlands Learning Center. Campers will explore the biology of prairies and wetlands, and have fun at the same time. Perhaps they have experienced the prairie during the school year in the fall, winter, and spring seasons. The summer prairie is a whole different delight! More flowers are blooming, more insects are jumping, frogs are hopping, and birds are nesting. So much to explore, discover, and wonder about!
This year's theme is Insects and will include plenty of outdoor exploration time with invertebrates using sweep nets in the prairie and aquatic nets in the water. Each camper receives a waterproof notebook to use and keep along with other fun gear!
