“The Business Exchange” Connects Buyers and Sellers in Person
In a world of social media marketing and online connections, sometimes there’s nothing more refreshing than doing business the old-fashioned way – with a handshake and a smile. The Fergus Falls Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Bigwood Event Center to provide a new trade-show style networking event on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the Bigwood in Fergus Falls. “The Business Exchange” is a new event that will focus on connecting businesses in-person and will showcase up to 100 area firms who know the importance seeing their customers and doing business locally. From 1:00-4:00pm, join regional professionals at the trade show for business-to-business networking -- reach potential clients, develop prospects, strengthen relationships and thank customers. Admission to the event will be free and open to the public but the focus will be on building business relationships.
“Over the past decade, the former Business Expo event grew to capacity, so we knew there was a need for a B2B (business to business) trade show event,” said Lisa Workman, Executive Director of the Fergus Falls Area Chamber of Commerce. “By partnering with the Bigwood, we can co-host a first class event and have plenty of room for exhibitors at a reasonable fee.”
Booth registration opened on Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Bigwood Event Center. Booth fees ($150) include 2 tickets to a networking luncheon at the Z103 Bar & Grill that day. Booth reservations and payments will be taken by the Bigwood Event Center.
