Position Overview:
As our Sales & Social Media Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in promoting Fergus Falls as a premier destination for events, conferences, and tourism while maintaining an engaging social media presence that highlights our community's unique offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales:

• Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, meeting planners, and event organizers
• Create compelling proposals for conventions, meetings, and events
• Coordinate with local venues, hotels, and businesses to support visitor experiences
• Represent Visit Fergus Falls at trade shows and networking events

• Create and manage engaging content across social media platforms
• Cover local events and attractions through photos, videos, and stories
• Maintain consistent brand voice across all digital channels
• Monitor and engage with audience interactions
• Track and report social media metrics

• Experience in sales, marketing, or related field
• Strong social media management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• 30 hours per week
• Flexible schedule including some weekends and evenings for event coverage
• Must be available to attend and document community events
